Made for Home Sweet Home, an exhibition re-imagining birdhouses through design at MAD Brussels, curated by Connie Hüsser.
Most birds are constantly on the move, migrating to warmer climates in search of food. Our birdhouse plays with two perspectives: on one hand, the image of a camping bird in need of a tent; on the other, the stark white color that evokes refugee tents and the profound beauty of finding shelter in a crisis.
The tent was crafted in the studio and refers to a real tent with it´s significant detailing in scale 1:10.
