TAF Studio developed the exhibition concept and spatial design for Boro at the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities. The exhibition brings together over a hundred historic boro textiles, garments and quilts built up through generations of repair and layering, alongside contemporary works by invited Swedish artists.

Each garment is presented behind glass, tucked and wedged into solid pine bases. The simple, open format creates an accessible and intimate display while meeting the conservation requirements of the valuable objects. The choice of pine reflects the material honesty and economy at the heart of the boro tradition.
