The design is built around a meeting of opposites: a solid oak top resting on a slender metal base, balancing weight and lightness in a compact and precisely proportioned object. The rounded tabletop gives the table its name Pastille, its soft tablet like form sitting in quiet contrast to the lean geometry of the metal structure below.

The wooden top is carefully shaped and finished by hand, while the metal legs provide a clear and defined frame. The result is a small table with a considered and balanced presence.
