Relief is a modular storage system consisting of chest of drawers and hook rails in three dimensions and five colours. All components, including the reverse faces, are finished to the same standard, allowing the system to function as a freestanding unit, a connected configuration, or a room divider with integrated storage.
The collection is available in three drawer unit sizes, each with a choice of cylindrical legs or a plinth base. A corresponding hook rail is available in matching widths. The system is constructed from wood and veneered MDF.
The design takes a pragmatic approach to detailing. The handle has no expressed form when viewed from the front, reading as a plain rectangular rail. The underside is shaped to provide a comfortable grip, keeping the exterior profile clean and uninterrupted.
The name references the profiled edging detail, which produces a graphic relief effect across the surface. Relief is designed and manufactured in Sweden and delivered flat packed.
