Signe Persson-Melin is one of Sweden's most prominent designers and ceramists, with a career spanning more than six decades. Rather than following trends, she developed her own formal language early on, grounded in everyday function, aesthetic sustainability and timeless simplicity. The exhibition traces this consistency through three thematic sections exploring surface, material and form.

The exhibition concept was shaped by visits to the ceramic industry in Arita, Japan, where TAF had previously developed their own porcelain collection. A recurring image from those trips was the industrial trolleys used to transport ceramics through the workshops, functional and pragmatic objects made precisely for their purpose. This became the starting point for the display system.

A Swedish made galvanised steel industrial trolley was adopted as a ready made base, complemented by pine shelving units referencing the Japanese workshop aesthetic. The result is a modular and mobile display system that allows for a varied and dynamic arrangement of objects. The flexibility of the wheeled trolleys made it straightforward to adapt the layout for each venue, and the exhibition has been shown at Vandalorum, Rian in Falkenberg and Landskrona Museum.
